Connect computers to your network like never before possible. MegaBit Gear CE/3 TE/3, a high-speed modem specially designed for LANs

Computer networking has dramatically advanced over the past few years according to the popularization of intranets.
But take a look around you. Can you find places that are not yet networked?
If there is a phone line nearby, you can connect such locations to a network today.
CE/3 TE/3 is the ultimate solution to your networking needs!

The ultimate ADSL modem What is MegaBit Gear CE/3 TE/3?
CE/3 TE/3 applies ADSL* technology to LANs, enabling office telephone lines to become a 10/100Base-TX network several kilometers long.
It allows you to connect to an LAN computers located more than 100 m (maximum distance for 10/100Base-TX) from a hub or switch, yet it does not entail the difficulties and expense of installing fiber optic cable.
CE/3 TE/3 is the ultimate solution for computer networks on which LAN connection is problematic due to cost and environment constraints.CE/3 TE/3 is placed between your phone and PBX (Public Branch Exchange). It is a Plug & Play product requiring no complex setup. Once you turn on its power, an ADSL connection is automatically established over which data can be transmitted.CE/3 TE/3's maximum transmission rate for data is 1 Mbps upstream (TE to CE) and 12 Mbps downstream (CE to TE).
And of course, you can still use your telephone while CE/3 TE/3 is transferring data.Since CE/3 TE/3 was designed from the outset to connect to LANs, we provided it with an Ethernet interface and a bridging function.

The Amazing Capabilities of MegaBit Gear CE/3 TE/3
Builds a Computer Network Between Buildings at a Plant Creates Networks at Public Buildings and Expositions
Builds a Computer Network Between Buildings at a Plant
Laying Ethernet cable inside and outside can be a formidable task. That is why many PCs are never linked to a network. CE/3 TE/3 solves this problem by networking PCs, no matter where they are located, over telephone lines.
Creates Networks at Public Buildings and Expositions
Although there is a great demand for setting up computer networks linking reception desks, temporary facilities, and locations outside of the office, laying the cable for such networks is no easy task. CE/3 TE/3 offers a simple network solution using the telephone lines at hand.

Connects Computers to Telephone Lines at Construction Sites
Computer networks are effective for sharing procedures and blueprints at construction sites and offices. The high-speed communication capabilities of CE/3 TE/3 which can use temporarily installed telephone lines is ideal for such situations. It can markedly improve cooperative work between people on and off the construction site.
Networks Together Hospital Computers
The use of computers for accounting, administration, and diagnosis is continually increasing. Unfortunately, laying new cable to extend a network generates dust and noise. CE/3 TE/3 enables the building of a network using wiring already in place throughout the facility.

Plug & Play Product Anyone Can Use Right Out of the Box

As soon as you connect the necessary cables and turn its power on, CE/3 TE/3's factory settings enable the modem to automatically check line conditions, set a transmission rate, and start communication.
The LCD display on the CE/3 TE/3 front panel always shows the communication status in an easy-to-understand manner so that you can visually determine how the unit is operating. By using the display and buttons on the front panel, you can get even more detailed information. There is no need for special knowledge and operation know-how concerning networks.

The Power of DMT for Adjusting Transmission Speed According to Telephone Line State

On ADSL, transmission rate fluctuates dues to various factors including the quality and length of telephone lines. Even after establishing a connection by ADSL and commencing communication at a certain speed, it might occur that the connection may become difficult to maintain due to noise or other line problems. CE/3 TE/3's solution is to use the special feature of DMT to reset transmission speed so that communication can be maintained.

Support for Robust Network Management

In addition to operation management by the end user, CE/3 TE/3 lets you use an SNMP agent when operation management by a network administrator becomes necessary.

CE/3 TE/3 Ease-of-Use and Simple Configuration

CE/3 TE/3 Ease-of-Use and Simple Configuration These models are perfect for replacing a legacy PBX modem with an LAN and using ADSL to extend a relatively small number of 10/100Base-TX interfaces from and single line. Their internal splitters allows you to keep using your existing analog phones and fax machines. (Combined usage with telephones may result in slightly degraded voice quality.)

  • When using with telephones, connect CE/3 TE/3 to two-wire analog telephone lines. Combined use on 4-wire digital lines is not possible.
  • Combined usage with telephones may result in slightly degraded voice quality.
  • Telephones cannot be used when CE/3 TE/3's power is turned off.
  • In response to the line quality at the time it starts up, CE/3 TE/3 automatically selects and operates under the optimum transmission rate within the range setup in advance (includes factory settings).
  • When communication is no longer possible at the original rate due to line noise or other subsequent problems, CE/3 TE/3' reduces the speed automatically to a level and reconnect. In addition, you can set an even stronger data error recovery function when needed.
  • You can use CE/3 TE/3 even without connecting to a PBX or telephone.
